obviously, i don't understand the question in general what do you need to know about that solar power other than the types of collectors that are associated with generating electric power from the sun. as for turbine generators if your talking about high-pressure steam turbines? well they can be quite expensive to purchase and equally difficult to operate too.

as for the movement of a power generating device goes the application is called "induction" it's quite simple really. for example a magnet passing through a coil of wire. the speed of which the magnet passes means very little, however the distance from the coil to the magnetic field is most critical. another simple example would be the magneto in a small lawnmower engine. not very complicated at all, just a very powerful magnet that passes a magnetic flux to a pickup primary winding with a high-voltage coil acting as a secondary step up winding.

Academic dissertation writing requires certain useful dissertation writing tips which should always be followed in order to write dissertations with full confidence. It is a critical requirement for every academic dissertation help that the student should prove his hypothesis in relation to the topic in the most comprehensive way.
Now I am thinking of using your help in my next written assignment, and I will make sure my friends will be informed of your great dissertation writing or dissertation help.
Elementary school students can search through educational sites for reference materials, tutorials, homework help.

Hello,
I am looking for an expert to explain generators/wind energy to me. I want to connect a windmill into the electric grid. It seems that the gas generators that are commercially available would not work very well with the variable speeds of the wind. What kind of generator can handle a load of nothing to very fast and still feed AC energy to my house?
Thanks,
Michael Lasell

Hello!

I am what you would call an expert critic of the wind energy solution for I obviously don't believe that windmill generators are the best that we can do. As a scientist whose favorite pastime is reading technical journals I can tell you and everybody else on this site that the same force that keeps everything stationary on this planet is by far 100,000 times more efficient than any other energy generating apparatus that man can contrive.

I will share a prototype invention with the world a few years from now, once the large device has been thoroughly tested and patent. it works on a time-tested principal of perpetual motion and can generate electric currents so high that they stagger the imagination. let me explain here, try to imagine a device roughly the size of three football fields generating in upwards of 100 million amps of electrical current. thus, not requiring any wind or sun energy in its operation.

No, you will not find any mention of this device in any textbooks for I'm writing the future text for that book as i speak. Now as far as those windmill generators go. I find them quite large and require a great deal of wind energy to operate efficiently, something that many states don't have an over abundance of. Those windmill generators must be mounted on high towers, and the higher, the better. They must pivot in any direction too. mechanically speaking, the generators are under a gear ratio load at all times too. Therefore, the device doesn't necessarily have to spin very fast. unfortunately, like all power generating devices it takes energy to make energy. Now if you lived in Upper Michigan off Lake Superior for instance, there's indeed an over abundance of wind off that Lake. this is due to the ever-changing temperature variation's of the water in conjunction with the jet stream and other atmospheric anomalies that make Lake Michigan, Lake Superior two of the most dangerous freshwater oceans to navigate during that off-season November boating. the winds can reach in excess of 70 miles an hour with gusts as high as 100+. on most days brisk breezes have been clocked as high as 35 to 40 miles an hour for several days or even weeks at a time. no doubt perfect climate for windmill generation, that I have no question of.

now as far as the power grid goes once you have enough power to completely power up your home you can sell that access power back to the utility company. Yes, of course doing that becomes quite a bit expensive for that most erratic energy output from your generator needs to be regulated when feeding back a little extra power to that extremely stable AC power grid. I only know a few who have actually tried it and didn't fare very well , a few dollars a day if you're lucky. once again it all depends on the wind energy that you have at your disposal. If you live in a windy region, then you should have no problem except for a little maintenance from time to time which requires either a certified company, or a very brave not afraid of heights do-it-yourselfer.

peace my friend

Do you think that gravity can be reversed and accelerated?

Does anyone know anyone who actually works in the alternative energy industry? I would really like to talk briefly with someone who actually makes their living involved in some part of the alternative energy industry. I'm looking for anyone whether they are a businessman, an engineer, a factory line worker, or some other job classification. I am currently searching for a job in alternative energy, but I am not asking for a job right here. Rather, I would like to talk to someone who actually does this type of work so I can learn more about what types of challenges their specific industry faces, and what more I might need to learn to make myself useful for this line of work.

TennesseeCornStoves is collecting actual affordable alternative biomass energy data in hundreds of homes and small businesses in several states and many countries. Feel free to join in the discussion with hundreds of biomass energy users: www.groups.yahoo.com/group/cornstoves Search TennesseeCornStoves to find other interesting websites with energy information. Ask questions and enter discussions with hundreds of biomass energy users at www.groups.yahoo.com/group/cornplace
To visually and actively participate in person, please visit the week-end active live display at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, near BassPro at I-40 intersection with Hwy 66, Pigeon Forge exit to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. You furnish your personal transportation. All else is freely shared and openly discussed. Observe personally 80% savings in home energy expenditures. Learn first hand about the energy ignorance that makes thriving and insand profits for large utilities, big oil, Visit www.TVA.gov and observe false energy assumptions for which TVA has no basis. Follow through by visiting www.aep.com to observe additional ignorance about energy consumption and generation. Ask to see actual monthly energy bills of numerous customers using less than $20/mo for electricity and gas including hot water, cooking, lighting, washing, drying clothes. Note the monthly water bill exceeds the energy bill for said customers. Read the comments where customers routinely verify a monthly energy savings exceeding $500 per month.
Then please feel free to use your mechanical engineering skills to further advance the energy art by incorporating solar, wind, and hydro energy into the existing and proven biomass energy equation. We need your help. Please please just tell us one single wholesale distributor for solar, wind, micro-hydro in the US. Please do not say "e-bay". We need reliable, repeatable, affordable solar, wind, micro-hydro suppliers inside the US.
Unfortunately GE, BP and Shell have isolated and desimated all solar cell distribution in the eastern US. Some states descretely outlawed solar, wind, hydro by requiring "unavailable" insurance policies. Other districts make solar, wind, hydro illegal with local restrictions on noise, birds, insurance, nuisance, federal regulations, local laws, state restrictions, solar glare, global warming, unattractive nuisance, - well you get the point. No new energy source will be allowed in the US except existing Mid-eastern energy.
Fortunately, we are assimulating qualified professional talent to collect actual energy test results that can not be intelligently challenged.

I am in a contest for a free MBA course at one of the best 100 universities in the world. Because there are still too many people in the contest (we had to do a lot of assignments up to now), the last 10% of the contenders have to get as many votes as possible for a short message left on a website. The assignment should show the organisation that my network (including my LinkedIn network) is active and available, as in this LinkedIn group.
The website is http://career.fd.nl/#/vote/2378 and you can vote by clicking the "STEM" buttton.

The contest is supported by LinkedIn, so feel free to invite others to vote as well.

I would highly appreciate your vote!

Who am I?
At this moment, my job is in green business: renewable energy and biobased business. We do projects from growing crops to biogas and from biodiesel to bioplastics, always from an agriculture perspective.

Kind regards,
Rob Korten

I have an idea on how to increase the fuel mpg on class 8 diesel rigs by as much as 2 mpg. It dosnt or wont save the planet but it sure will cut diesel fuel consumption by 25%. The engineering expertise and funding is what I lack. Any ideas?
