economic feasibility of solar vs wind vs incineration/recycling?

i understand that solar energy is the most efficient convertible energy source but that it is the most expensive and if you can't get incentives or paid for your excess you may never get back your initial investment?
based on this understanding i advocate to start with wind power globally which not only pays of monetary expense within the first year but also its environmental cost..
i really don't know enough on incineration i would appreciate some information on it. i know we use both but as for costs?? uh duh!
i need some feedback on my opinion/statement and information on the other, i am going to give a layman speech on it and the online info was EXTENSIVE and very noncommittal.
Not to mention the math/physics numbers to support or explain.
thanks so much
