Profile Information

Why are you interested in Alternative Energy?
I co-founded Agro*Gas Industries LLC in the spring of 2007 with my partner Tom Monahan, We have adopted cutting edge cellulosic strategies and processes that are going to change the industry and make ethanol and bio-diesel price competitive with fossil fuels. Agro*Gas feels that the only way the ethanol industry will survive will be the implementation of "ZERO VALUED FEED STOCK" doctrines and NEW streamlined production processes. By combining existing technologies from other industry applications we have been able to reduce the footprint of a present day ethanol plant by three quarters and increase out put by ten fold. AMERICAN BIO-FUELS (The destination is RIGHT. The road is WRONG.)

In the spring of 2007 my partner Tom Monahan and I attended Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen's first Bio-Fuels Conference. Tom and I wanted to see how the small alternative energy company we had just formed was going to posture against Tennessee's best and brightest. After three days of intense networking we were shocked at what we found.

With one exception every agronomist, scientist, farmer and engineer was adopting corn and soybean as thier feedstock of choice for ethanol and bio-diesel prod… Continue

Thanks again! I'll check them out as soon as my vacation is done next month. We really need an all-electric car to test out our "free energy device."

Thanks Doug,

I'm working with Electrorides Inc. to unveil ZeroTruck at the Alternative Fuel and Vehicle Instute National Conference in Las Vegas May 11-14. You should come out.

In time for the show, I'm looking to get as much publicity for the Conference as well as for Electrorides - any ideas or contacts you have to help get the word out would be appreciated.

Hello Doug,
Thanks for the note. I am, as I said, a novice but very interested in the need to change the type and amount of energy we consume. I am excited to see so many sites popping up but at the same time, it is hard to figure out which are "fluff" and which hold true knowledge and concern. I believe this is a great site and kudos to everyone willing to participate. It can only get easier from here.
As I go through the planning stages of my house on Colorado I will be seeking knowledge and advice from profesionals in the many fields of alternate energy and I thank you for your offer of assitance.
The construction part is easy for me me because I have been investing real estate since 1998 and have built 12 homes of varying styles. Some of which I have been able to talk the owners onto incorporating solar energy. I have a 'little' knowledge in that field.
Here's hoping this 'bandwagon' fills to the brim.

Hi Doug,
Thanks for the comment you left for me. I did check out your other web sites regarding ethanol produced from kudzu - very cool. I would very much like to pursue a career in renewable fuels. To keep this brief, I'd appreciate any advice you might have regarding ways to gain experience that would be valuable to existing companies or start-ups. You can e-mail me directly at ortega.john_at_gmail.com (substitue "@" for the "_at_"). I can forward you my CV and from that you can get a sense of my past education and experience. And maybe we can continue from there? Thanks again. John.

I am doing research into the combsution of corn as a solid fuel.I am trying to come up with a new stove design that is much cheaper than the current designs.I also am looking at a corn log that can be used in a wood stove. My main focus is wind power.I have one design for a generator transmission system that clamps speeds with out a brakeing system. One design I am working on has only one moving part.I currently have a modified 1987 subaru justy that gets 50 mg at 40 mph. I am willing to donate my considerable intellect for free to any energy project. tugboatbully@yahoo.com call me at 402 426 0258

Hi Doug,

I'd be more than happy to communicate with you via e-mail or telephone. I'm actively seeking ways to get involved in the "AE" Industry as a career, as I would like to be a part of the movement that can better America and the rest of the world.

All the best,

Jim
